Hey there 👋

Hi, I'm Danielle (Dani for short) Generous!

I graduated summa cum laude from James Madison University with a B.A. in English and Interactive Design and went on to pursue my master's in Human-Computer Interaction at Georgia Tech. Throughout my education, I've become increasingly interested in how research and design can help us better understand the ways people learn, interact, and connect with one another.

Having spent much of my life working with children, I've found myself especially drawn to understanding their experiences and perspectives. Today, my approach to design is grounded in the belief that children shouldn't just be the people we're designing for, but active participants in the process. I'm particularly interested in participatory research and creating accessible technologies that support children's learning, development, and relationships with the people around them.
